Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek

As the third highest mountain in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga, "the five jewels of the great snow range" straddles the Nepal and Sikkim borders. This route is relatively un-trekked and thus the unspoiled villages and environment are yours to explore without the distractions of other trekkers. This wonderful trip starts with a sweeping scenic flight, covering a range of mountains from Langtang, Everest to Kanchenjunga to the south gangetic plain in eastern Nepal. We take a short flight to the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga at Sukhetar. From here we hike through villages untouched by the modern world enclosed by pristine rhododendron, oak and pine forests. Visiting the South and the North Base Camp giving you the best views of the area.

Day 04: Fly Biratnagar / Taplejung. Trek to Lali Kharka. O/N Camp.
Day 05: Trek to Kheswa Bhanjyang. O/N Camp.
Day 06: Trek to Mamamkhe. O/N Camp.
Day 07: Trek to Yamphudin. O/N Camp.
Day 08: Trek to Chitre. O/N Camp.
Day 09: Trek to Simbua Khola. O/N Camp.
Day 10: Trek to Tseram. O/N Camp.
Day 11: Trek to Ramche. O/N Camp.
Day 12: Rest day at Ramche for local excursion to Kanchenjunga South Base Camp. O/N Camp.
Day 13: Trek back to Tseram. O/N Camp.
Day 14: Trek near Tamo La. O/N Camp.
Day 15: Trek to Ghunsa. O/N Camp.
Day 16: Trek to Kambachen. O/N Camp.
Day 17: Trek to Lhonak. O/N Camp.
Day 18: Trek to Pang Pema, northern Base Camp. O/N Camp.
Day 19: Rest day at Pang Pema for local hike. O/N Camp.
Day 20: Trek back to Kambachen. O/N Camp.
Day 21: Trek to Phere. O/N Camp.
Day 22: Trek to Amji Lassa. O/N Camp.
Day 23: Trek to Tapethok. O/N Camp.
Day 24: Trek to Mitlung. O/N Camp.
Day 25: Trek to Suketar. O/N Camp.
Day 26: Fly Taplejung / Biratnagar / Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.
