Kali Gandaki Valley Trek

Put yourself in the worn-out shoes of Tibetan and Nepalese high mountain traders because this trek follows one of the most ancient trade routes in Nepal. The Jomsom trek will treat you to the cultures of numerous ethnic groups as you travel up river towards Tibetan plateau. Passing through the slate stone streets of Marpha and Tukuche will entice you to sample some local apple brandy and cider. Traditional mule trains are still used today to transport goods into this less accessible region. Lush rhododendrons, oaks and pines line the trail, which will bring you to Jomsom for a return scenic flight to Pokhara before Kathmandu.

Day 07: Trek to Tatopani. O/N Camp.
Day 08: Trek to Ghasa. O/N Camp.
Day 09: Trek to Tukche. O/N Camp.
