Dhaulagiri & French Col.

A fascinating and varied trek, which includes the taste of almost all the trekking environments which Nepal has to offer. From the fertile and relatively low farmlands, the arid and treeless valleys to high and snow crested ridge. This trip also offers excellent and rare views of both the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna massifs. The trail from the scenic base camp continues to a steep climb to French Col. advancing towards "hidden valley". Our journey continues farther to cross Thapa-la. From the top, it's a long descend to the popular trail of Annapurna circuit, passing through fascinating villages of Marpha, Tukuche with a holy dip in Tatopani (hot-spring) on the way back to Pokhara, for the last camp of the trek, near the shore of Phewa lake.
