Classic Everest Trek

The original expedition route between Jiri and Namche Bazaar has been all but ignored since the construction of the Lukla airport, sponsored by Sir Edmund Hillary in order to deliver supplies to the schools he founded. Camp adjacent to quaint villages with their own monasteries, the roots of Sherpa Buddhism lay in the steep slopes of Solu. This trek is ideal for good acclimatization as you cross passes equal to the elevation of Namche Bazaar. Discover the fertile valleys and the hospitality of the Sherpa people without the vast crowds found beyond Lukla on this classic Everest trail.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu / Jiri. O/N Camp.
Day 04: Trek to Shivalaya. O/N Camp.
Day 05: Trek to Bhandar. O/N Camp.
Day 06: Trek to Sete. O/N Camp.
Day 07: Trek to Junbesi. O/N Camp.
Day 08: Rest day at Junbesi for local excursion. O/N Camp.
Day 09: Trek to Nunthala. O/N Camp.
Day 10: Trek to Bupsa Danda. O/N Camp.
Day 11: Trek to Surke. O/N Camp.
Day 12: Trek to Phakding. O/N Camp.
Day 13: Trek to Namche Bazaar. O/N Camp.
Day 14: Rest day at Namche for acclimatization. O/N Camp.
Day 15: Trek to Thyangboche. O/N Camp.
Day 16: Trek to Dingboche. O/N Camp.
Day 17: Trek to Lobuche. O/N Camp.
Day 18: Trek to Gorekshep and hike to Kala Pattar. O/N Camp.
Day 19: Excursion to Everest Base Camp and return to Lobuche. O/N Camp.
Day 20: Trek to Pangboche. O/N Camp.
Day 21: Trek to Khumjung. O/N Camp.
Day 22: Trek to Monjo. O/N Camp.
Day 23: Trek to Lukla. O/N Camp.
Day 24: Fly Lukla / Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel.
