Ruphshu valley To Zanskar valley trek
- From Darcha to to Padum
This trek takes you over some steep gorges, mountain rivers and moraines. Its a tough walk and involves crossing mountain streams and fallen rocks along the way. Also meet shepherds in their summer pastures and local people in remote villages. In this bleak, inhospitable land the people are warm and friendly. They live an unsophisticated life subsisting on barley and peas the only two items that the unyielding weather allows them to grow.
