The Valley of Flowers Trek

Rishikesh - Joshimath - Ghangaria (Trek) - Valley of flower (Trek) - Hemkund sahib (Trek) - Badrinath - Deoprayage

Best season : July-September

Trekking holidays in Garhwal in the gentle slopes of the Himalayas, one of the most picturesque in the country, with giant terrace fields straddling the green mountains. Breathtaking views of snow covered peaks dominate the far horizon.Day 01: DELHI-RISHIKESH - Drive to Rishikesh (225 km). Arrive Rishikesh in the afternoon. Sight seeing at Haridwar en-route. Overnight at Rest House.

Day 02: RISHIKESH-JOSHIMATH - Drive to Joshimath (256 km). Lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight stay at Rest House at Joshimath.

Day 03: JOSHIMATH-GHANGHARIA - Drive to Govindghat (22km). Further 14 km trek to Ghangharia with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in Rest House Ghangharia.

Day 04: GHANGHARIA-VALLEY OF FLOWERS - 5 km trek to Valley of Flower with packed lunch. In the afternoon trek back to Ghangharia. Dinner and overnight stay in the Rest House.

Day 05: GHANGHARIA-HEMKUND SAHIB - 6 km trek to Hemkund Sahib with packed lunch in the afternoon trek back to Ghangharia. Dinner and overnight stay in Rest House.

Day 06: HEMKUND SAHIB-BADRINATH - 14 km trek to Govindghat with packed lunch. Drive to Badrinath (22km). Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Badrinath.

Day 07: BADRINATH-DEOPRAYAGE - Drive to Deoprayage, lunch en-route. Visit confluence of sacred rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to become the holy Ganges. Dinner and overnight stay in Rest House Deoprayage.

Day 08: DEOPRAYAGE-DELHI - Drive to Delhi (300 km) lunch en-route. Tour concludes.
